Job Description

Overview

The Room Repair Person will assist with basic maintenance requests and performing systematic room maintenance tasks and check lists to include but not limited to:

• Ensure all room bathroom sinks and drains are working and free of clogs
• Ensure all lights and fixture are in working order and replace light bulbs as needed
• Ensure room televisions and remotes are in working order
• Assemble, adjust, secure and tighten various appliances, knobs, fixtures and furniture
• Ensure all room phones are in working order
• Ensure all heat or air conditioning units are working
• Repair, hang, install shades and curtains as needed
• Assist in minor painting, spackling, caulking, and wall paper repair or preplacement as needed
• Assist Maintenance team with snow and ice clearing and removal as needed

This position will report to the Executive Housekeeper with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Director of Engineering. This position is a full-time year-round opportunity, Monday–Friday; 7:00-3:30 PM or 8:00-4:30 PM shift.
